Oracle sued in the US

The class action lawsuit against Oracle in a California court, accusing the company of amassing “detailed dossiers on 5 billion people” without their consent. The group says Oracle has been using the data to power its advertising division, which generates around $42.4 billion in annual revenue. Since there is no privacy legislation in the US, the lawsuit claims that Oracle has violated federal, constitutional, tort, and state laws.
